Bethnals

There is a new denim brand on the scene, based out of London, called Bethnals Ltd. and you can see the new Autumn Winter 2014 look book here. The brand was created by denim lover, Melissa, who used to be the senior buyer for Topshop, working exclusively with jeans and denim for six years, so she has plenty of experience in the industry.

Bethnals is a London-born, unisex, denim brand and as a Londoner herself, as well as a religious denim-wearer, Melissa couldn’t understand why in a city defined by its lack of definition, we are still divided by gender when it comes to denim. Melissa thinks men shouldn’t have to sneak into the women’s section to get their jeans skinny enough and women shouldn’t have to actually have a boyfriend to get the right ‘boyfriend jeans’ and that’s why Bethnals is here. She is a true tom boy, and has been developing a new generation of jean perfectly cut to work with both the male and female silhouette.

You can take a look at the full look book below! What do you think? The prices will start at £75 for core styles up to £125 for selvedge. I think that’s a great in-between price from high street to premium!
