We are a growing boardsport- and streetwear-label. We’ve been on the market for 2 years now, which is longer than most other labels last and we are still thriving. Our motto is not to leave any negative impact and to do good. For this we take special care on four points.
Firstly, we only provide products of highest quality. It took over a year to find a manufacturer which could supply us with T-Shirts and Hoodies that could offer the quality we were looking for. There is only one supplier in Europe that provides this level of quality and we were extremely lucky because they started their business nearly one year after we began our search. If they weren’t around we’d still be searching. The Task of finding a reliable print shop was even harder. It took to years to find a print office that uses environmentally friendly dye based on water and offers the quality and reliability we want our costumers to be provided with.
Secondly, we only use products made of 100% organic cotton and special colors to print on our products. We didn’t want any compromises with 45% oder 50% organic cotton. The goal is not to leave ANY negative impact at all and because of this there is no other possibility for us than to use 100% organic cotton. To print our products we use special dye based on water. You could drink the dye if you wanted to, but I heard it doesn’t taste good. ;-)
The third point is fair labor conditions for all workers that are involved in our production process. For this reason our products carry the fair-trade-label but that’s not where it ends. Fairtrade is too centered on the farmers. It includes the rest of the production line also, but the standards there aren’t as strict compared to the raw-material-producers. To change this our supplier is helping some locals in India to open their own sewing factory in which they are able to raise working standards for the workers above the fairtrade-level.
Last but not least is our goal of climate neutral production. The empty shirts and Hoodies produced from our supplier are climate neutral. We then have to ship them to our printer, print them and ship them to our costumers. But due to recent changes in post-office-politics in the European Union we now have the chance to have all our shipping become climate neutral. We can even provide worldwide climate-neutral shipping for our customers. What remains are the greenhouse gases that are produced when printing the shirts. But our next step is to buy our own printer and power it with renewable power.
We welcome everyone who wants to help us do something for a better world and help to spread the word on how important a sustainable lifestyle is for our future, our children’s future and our worlds future.
