These sustainable sunglasses from Dick Moby were born from an urge to address the plastic pollution in a positive way. As avid surfers and sailors, the duo behind brand – Tim Holland and Robbert Wefers Bettink- had witnessed a build-up of trash in the ocean. So during surf trips way back when they began talking about how to do something proactive. They decided to build on the idea of sunglasses created from a recycled source, what they see as “the ultimate luxury product” made using the unsustainable material. They model their designs on timeless classics and have the sunglasses handcrafted in Italy using an innovative bioplastic.
