Illuminated Apparel – Interactive Glow T-Shirts from Illuminated Apparel on Vimeo.
Phosphorescence has always been fascinating. With a phosphorescent substance, you can “charge” a material under intense light and it will give an eerie (usually green) glow for a short while before you would have to charge it again.
Illuminated Apparel uses a refined version of this technology to create rather nifty shirts that will make you shine in a crowd quite literally.
The shirts look plain in daylight but in the dark, it becomes a doodle board for you to draw on using light pens, lasers or even beams from your phone. It works the same way traditional glow-in-the-dark material does.
