Rosalie McMillan doesn’t have to look far for her coffee fix. The London designer creates jewelry from Çurface, an industrial composite derived from waste grounds and post-consumer recycled polystyrene. A finalist in the 2015 Observer Ethical Awards (along with Here Today Here Tomorrow and Nudie Jeans), McMillan offsets the unusual material with recycled or fair-trade-certified silver and gold vermeil. Talk about a sophisticated brew!
