Charity:water, one of our favorite non-profits bringing attention to the water crisis and much-needed wells to African villages, has put out an awesome video for Earth Day. Detailing just how something as simple but vital as a well makes a difference in people’s lives, the video shows that everything from disease to illiteracy can be alleviated by easier access to clean drinking water. In fact, charity:water states, “Every $1 invested in improved water access and sanitation yields an average of $12 in economic returns, depending on the [well] project.”
