One thing that’s tough when you spend so much of your day looking at style blogs is looking at images of people in places with way better weather than wherever you are. (I’m looking at you Jessica Stein!)
It’s been especially tough this week, when, as I mentioned yesterday, it’s about 13 degrees in New York City. Really. That’s why I’ve been gravitating towards the enviably pulled-together cold weather denim style of Andy Torres on her blog, Style Scrapbook. She’s based in Amsterdam, where there’s all kinds of snow and cold at the moment.
Monochromatic oxblood/burgundy look with a dramatic white coat and fab hat? Check.
A pop of hot pink with black denim flares? Got it.
Stark black-and-white look with tuxedo jeans? Done and done.
Andy has given me totally refreshed inspiration for keeping my style fresh and fun even when all we can do is shiver! How about you?
