Design firm Penda just unveiled “One with the Birds,” a design concept for a flexible hotel that can be easily constructed and expanded with zero impact on the landscape. The modular design was created for the “AIM Legend of Tent” competition, which asked designers to develop concepts for flexible and sustainable temporary tent structures. All submissions will be judged on three main criteria: sensitivity to the environment; flexibility and adaptability of form; and the user experience, with emphasis placed on comfort and uniqueness.
