Most people don’t think twice about tossing aluminum soft drink cans (hopefully into a recycling bin). But they can become something unexpectedly beautiful: Denver, Colorado based jewelry artist Jeanette Gaydos of Verveine Designs takes these humble, forgotten cans and transforms them by hand into gorgeous accessories, overlaid with colourful Japanese origami paper patterns.
