Day after day during New York Fashion Week, I became more and more convinced that the people who work at Milk Studios are some of the best dressed, coolest people in the city.

I snapped this gorgeous woman after the Cushnie et Ochs show last week. She reminds me of a lot of the street style I’ve shown on ESD in the past – it’s very rock-and-roll, tough, and a bit edgy – it’s so not me. But isn’t that what makes fashion and shooting street style so great? You can appreciate and admire so many different styles and looks, even if you’d never wear them yourself.

Emulating this look would be best facilitated by hitting up a vintage or thrift store for a great oversize shirt, ripping it’s sleeves off and then adding a big belt and some liquid or leather leggings.

Lately it seems that denim shirts have captured my interest completely – I’m hardly talking about actual jeans these days, right? I think as the weather starts to cool off, my pants appreciation will return…
