After what felt like a particularly long fashion week season, it’s finally over. The four major cities (New York, London, Milan and Paris) have concluded their shows, and we must all now return to our regularly scheduled programming. Kind of a bummer, no?

As much of a circus as it’s become, I still look forward to seeing what all the fashionalities will be wearing – especially the denim. I noted earlier in the season, there seemed to be no discernible “stand out” denim trend amongst the show-goers. While the cuts continued to be varied, I did notice an increase in mid-wash and what I might call “true blue” jeans.

To achieve this neither-here-nor-there hue, I like the idea of also incorporating a twill or “colored” denim as well. There have been some great styles recently that hit that perfectly blue blue, and (bonus!) many of them are on sale at the moment.
