I broached the topic of heavy patchwork denim recently in our top five dramatic spring trends and promised a continuation. So here it is. I’m not talking about a properly-placed patch here, another there. I mean full blown, there are more patches on your jeans than there is denim kind of look. I’ll be honest, this one is a hard one for me. I really like it, but the trend can easily go over the edge into ‘what is she wearing’ territory and maybe not in a good way. It seems on the harder side to style. But … I’m always up for a “Trend Challenge” and this Bart Simpson DIY (pictured above) is giving me no reason not to give it a whirl.
