Happy New York Fashion Week. Or as I call it, the denim olympics. Where all different walks of fashion lovers converge into one basically central location, wearing only their finest outfits. And denim always comes out in full force. It’s a happy time for us, and a great way to see how the denim trends are being interpreted in real life or ‘pseudo real life’ and on the runway. Personally, I take a lot of inspiration from street style snaps, and find new ways to incorporate denim into my wardrobe, or at least reinterpret my existing pieces that I’ve become somewhat bored with. It looks like many are still loving their boyfriend, and distressed jeans. And we’re seeing even more proof that denim jackets will always add a perfect layer to any outfit, especially killer when paired with a graphic logo tee, or a more feminine floral dress. Also, dust-off your 90s faves and do some crunches because the crop top is the coolest kid at the party.
