Launched Thursday, the smartphone-app-cum-social-platform offers a curated selection of sustainable designers and retailers for your perusing and shopping pleasure—free. (Caveat: You have to be a Nokia user first.) “Green is great, but many retailers and designers can’t get there right away,” says Carolyn Gerin, its co-founder. “GreenGlamGo includes more levels of ‘getting to green’ with sustainable, handmade designers and the retailers who love them. If ‘getting to green’ is more inclusive and we’re all making small improvements, all the boats rise.” Hey, is that your conscience ringing?
