ReFood announced that it is launching a new branded fertiliser, known as ReGrow, which contains high levels of nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus. The company said the product would “typically double yields if applied as part as a comprehensive crop strategy”.

The fertiliser, which was officially launched at an event at ReFood’s gas-to-grid anaerobic digestion (AD) plant in Widnes, is produced from the digestate that results when food waste is processed to produce biogas using an anaerobic digestion plant.
