One Saudi man is feeding the homeless with a brilliant idea that spares them the “shame” of having to beg for food. The compassionate and selfless man, who prefers to remain anonymous, set up a refrigerator outside his home in Hail, Saudi Arabia, and asked his neighbors to donate their extra food to help feed the homeless.

The act of kindness has gained international attention through Twitter when religious scholar Shaikh Mohammad Al Araifi praised the generous act on his account. He is quoted as saying, “I’ve always said the people of Hail are generous. A man puts a fridge outside his house for leftover food; an indirect act of charity for the needy. Oh how I love you, Hail!”
