Oslo-based Nordic Office of Architecture had to take extreme weather conditions into account when designing the Moldegaard Cabin. Located in Tyin, Norway, this beautiful private home stands against hurricane-strength winds and five-meter-high snow piles. Constructed with local wood and stone, it’s topped by a resilient green roof that adds a touch of air purification, as well as extra warmth during brutal Nordic winters.
