Japan’s Sou Fujimoto recently completed a striking plant-infused installation at the FIAC art fair. Located in the Jardins des Tuileries, Many Small Cubes is composed of metal boxes filled with plants and trees. At night, the floating cubes light up in a mesmerizing display reminiscent of your old screen saver. Part architectural intervention and part art installation, the temporary sculpture is meant to serve as a nomadic house and we hope that the local birds and bees make their home here while they can.
