Using the Karamba 3D-parametric modeling plug-in for Rhino, students at the University of Innsbruck worked with instructor Manuel Fabian Hartmann to design and build the ‘Pavilion for one Summer’ for only 1,500 Euros. The double curved, open structure is made of 30 single-curved, prefabricated plywood sheets and installed on a hillside in Austria using 1,500 bolts.
