The Education Conference for National Development took place in Ankara on November 15th. Vegeteranian food was served, recycled material  used, and badges made from seeded paper to reduce ecological foodprint. After the opening speeches, the best sustainable projects were given awards in different categories, such as water saving and urban sustainabiliy. The importance of the environmental, social, and economic sustainability was emphasized. They aim to correct imbalances between people and nature, rich and poor, and gender equality in religion and culture to achieve a sustainable society. The most important observation about sustainable life was that, although our consumption has increased since 1973, our satisfaction is still the same.
