It all started as planned. It was a beautiful, crispy afternoon in New York. Ideal for a sunset concert on a rooftop. The Beets sound check started on time and all seemed to be ready for the concert.  But then … an NYPD squad raced up the stairs… and shut us down. Something ridiculous to do with the occupancy of the roof. You figure they would have told us before, but such are the workings of this complicated city. The crew did a fantastic job at moving all the sound gear downstairs in 27 minutes and, unbelievably, the concert began ‘Under the Roof’ with minimal delay. The Beets played a fantastic set, people went crazy over them … all’s well that ends well. What you are seeing in this video is uncut, RAW footage as a preview of a final edit of the entire concert by Jake and Lance (collabo nyc) that will be posted later this week. Stay tuned.
