Left Field has long since represented founder Christian McCann’s love for New York and US made goods with its mid-to-late 20th century America inspired clothing. With SS’14 well upon us, Left Field has released their latest lookbook that celebrates the grittier side of Coney Island using pieces from their minimally but well designed spring/summer collection.

It seems like this time around the color scheme is simplified to center around the basic black, white, and blue with some appearances from darker olives and reds. New York summers can get pretty hot, so it’s appropriate to see some warm weather options like tubular ring-spun t-shirts with 50s style collars and slim fitting Angus Young shorts made from a lightweight 6 oz Japanese twill fabric with chambray pocket bags and a chainstitched waistband.
