Over here in New York City, things are slowly, slowly, trying to get back to normal. Power should be returning to the lower half of Manhattan this weekend, and transit services are beginning to run again. The tri-state area has a long way to go in recovering from the deadly storm, but there are things that any of us can do to help, even denim-philes like us.
Today, instead of talking about all the denim we can buy, lets talk about the denim we can donate. We all have a pair or two that we hardly wear anymore, and there are thousands in our area who have lost everything, probably including their favorite pair (or any pair) of jeans.
To donate goods, visit The Salvation Army website to see where you can make a drop off or arrange a pick-up.
Eat, Sleep, Denim will be back to it’s regular posting schedule next week, and I thank you for your patience as we get back to normal on the East Coast.
