We (and by “we”, I mean people in the western world) are in the midst of music festival season. Coachella, Bonnaroo, and Sasquatch are in the rearview mirror, while Pitchfork, FYF Fest and Outside Lands are fast approaching. Since I am attending four festivals in the next two months, I’m carefully considering a strategy for festival style. A few things I take into consideration when readying outfits for a festival that is not in my hometown: 1. weather,* 2. comfort (you’ll be wearing these outfits and shoes all day), 3. consider separates (to get more wear out of each piece), and 4. bring a big tote.
Carissa and Chloe are sporting outfits that are perfect examples of how to effectively rock music festival style like a pro. They are both wearing: pretty tops – one in floral, the other in white lace, comfortable jeans or shorts that can be worn all day, comfy flats, and are sporting totes to carry the day’s supplies of water, a warm layer, and a snack.
