Brrr … you feel that? It’s the chill making its way through the holes in your jeans. Because even through its November, people seem to be wearing their distressed jeans with style and grace. Distressed boyfriend jeans have tenacity! And I can’t foresee a future w/out them. It seems like all we’re seeing lately are distressed jeans, with adorable chunky sweaters, chic overcoats, booties and more. How exactly do you wear distressed jeans in the cold and not look frumpy and freeze your butt off? We put together a few easy tips for wearing your distressed jeans in the cold:

Chic Booties

Roll up your boyfriend jeans (you’re going to do it anyways) and throw on a pair of chic black booties. They won’t look bulky under your already bulky jeans, but will keep you covered, literally.

Bright Color

Distressed jeans are casual, make them pop with a burst of color on top, and a chic patterned (leopard) coat. These two together will keep you warm while the rest of you fights the chill.

Layers

As we mentioned earlier, layers work wonders in the cold. Since your knees are freezing, you better balance things out with a sweater, jacket and oversized scarf. Or try a cute printed long-sleeve tee with a chunky sweater on top

Keep your head warm! And this is easy when the selection of chic fedoras is plenty.
