Here in NYC, it’s been one Spring forward and two steps back with this bipolar weather! So in honor of the Spring that’s not here … yet … I’m going to indulge in some Spring/Summer outfit inspiration!

The black blazer, white tee, denim shorts combo is nothing new – you might even call it the hipster tuxedo.  But I love this easy upgrade to a more closely matched denim ensemble, whether it’s a true denim suit or simply a blue blazer with cutoffs.  The look creates a great clean palette for accessories, and it’s simple to use shoes and/or a bag to dress it up or down.  I love that this feels polished yet effortless – a winning combination.
