I thought it might be a good idea to share some of the top denim trends for Summer 2015. These are trends that we have seen on a lot of celebrities, bloggers and people in the street, so they definitely need to make our list. These 7 denim trends are in no particular order either as we couldn’t possibly choose! What trends have you been loving lately?

Where would we be without our ever faithful vintage Levi’s denim shorts? Almost everyone owns a pair and they are the most popular denim shorts that I see out and about. Coming in an array of fits, washes and styles, there is literally a pair for everyone. You can either buy a pair of vintage Levi’s in a thrift shop and cut them yourself, or head to somewhere like Urban Outfitters or Etsy and buy them pre-cut!

Similar to the short dungaree trend, it’s now crossed over into dungaree dresses! Inspired by vintage styles from the 90’s, these are gorgeous and can give a youthful appearance to any outfit. Pairing them with a cropped tee and some sandals is great for a day in the park. I definitely think these dresses look best when worn casually.

I feel like Alexa Chung started this trend off. She released her own button front denim skirt for her AG collection last season and it took off tremendously. Every high street and denim brand has their own take on one and I think when worn right, it can look really chic. Just make sure you don’t style it too 90’s or too young.

7-Rosie-Huntington-Whiteley

Flared jeans are always in season in terms of buying them, but never have we seen flares so popular like we are right now. They are coming back in full force and so many brands have their own versions, from long to cropped and dark to light. They have also been spotted on many celebs and bloggers too! You can’t be without a pair of flares this Summer, especially in a light wash!

Culottes are often seen during fashion week in pant form, but recently many brands like Citizens of Humanity, J Brand and others are releasing denim versions. The high street stores are taking the trend on too and I’m expecting to see quite a few more bloggers wearing them!

Just like skinny overalls were all the rage last year, keeping up with the flares movement, many brands released flared denim overalls. We have spotted them on numerous celebrities and in various forms with patches, utility pockets, dark and light washes and more. If you love flares and want a dressier pair of overalls, these might be for you. Just be sure to style them chic and not geek.
