Luxury clothing producer Naked and Famous has produced a pair of jeans that prides itself in being both vegan and organic. For only $155, you too can buy yourself a pair and tell your friends how much you love the cardboard pocket patch that would typically be sewn-on leather.

Tons of denim products are available as being vegan anyways, so our choices here are quite broad. Levi’s jeans also boast a mock leather patch, and don’t use dyes that have been tested on animals. I’m not entirely sure how testing dyes on animals would be fruitful for a cotton-based article of clothing anyways, but I’ll take it.

Of course, the price tag is steep, and I doubt I would buy myself a pair when I reject the concept of pants whenever possible. Nonetheless, some folks take their denim purchases quite seriously, and might dig having the most socially conscious jeans ever. Of course, I would argue that thrifting is hands-down the best way to minimize your carbon footprint when trying to be stylish.
