Call it sort of a Minnie Mouse moment, call it a hiatus from this season’s color crush, call it whatever you like – I am into this little micro-trend I spotted on a few of my favorite bloggers.

Pairing denim with a black-and-white top (especially distressed denim) feels so right. I love how Alicia from Cheetah Is The New Black paired her heart-patterned Equipment Blouse with a sporty-chic baseball cap. Bonnie from Flashes-of-Style gave her (also) heart-printed blouse a front tuck in her on-trend pastel jeans. Alexandra of Lovely Pepa rocked her distressed jeans with a cool dotted jacket, pumps and an enviable 3.1 Phillip Lim ‘Pashli’ bag.
