I was lucky enough to take this huge Spring trend for a test drive in the depths of Winter, because my sister brought me back a pair offloral pants from Japan.  Although to me these pants seemed like a no-brainer – so on-trend, so obviously right – I get a crazy amount of stares when I wear them.  I won’t fool myself that it’s because I look so good!  I think floral jeans are a bit of a bold move, but how can you resist?  Next on my list is a lighter, brighter pair with a cream or blue background to freshen things up for the warm weather!

I love that floral denim can dress up a white t-shirt, make an amazing mixed print outfit out of basically any floral top you own, and can be dressed up for evening or the office with the right shoe, a white blouse, and a black blazer. Although sometimes I hesitate to buy identifiable pieces like this that are anything but basic, I also relish the challenge of making the same unique item work a thousand ways, so your friends and coworkers notice the outfit, not the fact that you’re wearing “those pants” again!
