3×1 sent me a pair Channel Seam Skinny Jeans to review, and at the perfect time. I’m ready to mix up my collection and experiment with more detailing. It’s not that I’m tired of my current denim collection, but I’ve been wanting to try something new. Risky right? Not really but maybe a little. When I think ‘paneling,’ moto jeans come to mind, but not in this case. Sporty is more like it (hence the Nike trainers pairing). And the white pannel seam is almost hidden — it peeks out at certain angles which is a nice surprise. True to form, they’re sporty looking and incredibly comfortable. The mid-rise hits just high enough for my liking, and the denim is very soft to the feel with a ton of stretch (92.5% cotton/5% polyester/2.5% spandex.). But not too much. I wore these all day and they kept their form. Normally a 29 or 30 depending on fit — these are 29 and perfect.

It’s not surprising the fit is spot on, 3×1 was founded by Scott Morrison, formerly of Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn. So the guy knows a thing or two about cute jeans that fit. I hate to say it but I hadn’t given 3×1 much thought before this review, but am an instant fan. I’m excited to ‘experiment’ with different 3×1 Denim fits/styles. These Destroyed Boyfriend jeans look tempting…
