Similar to my adoration for Shala Monroque, I have a fascination with the wardrobe of fashion consultant and founder of Buro 24/7, Miroslava Duma. She’s a darling of the street style photographers, and as she’s gained exposure, her outfits have become more curated, creative and sometimes, a little crazy.

The woman is rarely caught in denim (she favors more head-to-toe haute couture looks), but when she is, it’s always admirable and worthy of stealing a bit of inspiration.

Her interpretation of denim-on-denim comes across like a modified, slouchy jumpsuit: she’s not afraid to layer similar washes and mix up proportions.

While most of us can’t afford a Chanel t-shirt, we either can, should or do have a navy-and-white striped shirt that we can tuck into a flirty denim skirt.

Lastly, I’m kind of obsessed with this look on the far right. It’s such a chic combination to take a dramatic, balloon-sleeve blouse and pair it with casual cutoff shorts. Tucked in and topped off with an oversize clutch – it’s a perfect look for date night.

What do you think of Miroslava Duma’s denim style?
