Okay, so this trend post isn’t about a specific trend, it’s about taking a few different denim trends to the extreme, which I’ve noticed quite a bit of, lately. It seems like one quirky detail, or a nod to something bold isn’t enough – denim brands are pushing the envelope of what we think of as “jeans.”
For example, these MiH ‘Breathless’ patchwork skinny jeans. This takes fading and two-tone denim to kind of an extreme, am I right? And how about Alice + Olivia’s yellow and black printed floral skinny jeans? These are obviously cool, but black and yellow together is tough to pull off, and is a very extreme take on the floral denim trend. DL1961′s ‘Hazel’ jeans are metallic, coated, and have moto detailing. That’s a lot of look. Those of you who need a little more extreme when it comes to zippers and leather, look no further than these J Brand ‘Karlie’ skinnies. Panels, knee zips and a pretty heafty price.
Like I said, extreme.
What do you think of these over-the-top trend jeans? A do or a don’t?
