Ah, Juicy Couture. Long forgotten are the days of the velour tracksuit. At least for me. Though Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor (who founded the company back in 1997) have long departed, their original California fem-prep aesthetic remains. While much of their product is far to sweet and heavily branded for my taste, much of their sportswear is, well, wearable.

In Juicy’s Spring/Summer collection, denim played a big roll. From matching jacket and pant (or short) sets in prints and stripes to a playful slouchy romper – it’s all about lightness and fun. I could also see myself working a pair of these cropped, sherbet-colored skinnies into my spring closet quite easily.
