Cropped flares are still one of the biggest trends of the moment. We are seeing them everywhere, from the street style stars and bloggers to the runways and celebrities, so it’s no surprise that every denim brand is jumping on the trend. I remember Paige released a cropped flare some years ago, so I know it’s been something that brands have thought about for a while.

Next to release their take on the cropped flare trend is J Brand. They have designed the new Selena jean which is a mid calf length bootcut/flare jean. This is a great seasonal transition piece for the cooler weather now and then into Spring. I think these Selena jeans look gorgeous and even though I’m not a huge fan of the trend due to my short legs, I can see these being popular as they are a lot slimmer than most pairs people have been seeing.
