Allow me to introduce you all to one of my most favorite people – Inslee Haynes. She’s a great friend of mine and happens to be an insanely talented illustrator. She has her own business, and also posts her fashionable sketches, watercolors and commissioned projects on her blog.

I invited Inslee to join me at some of the New York Fashion Week shows I attended through IFB, and would you believe it? She breezed up to The Standard Hotel (for the Misha Nonoo presentation) in an absolutely chic denim ensemble. She emails me from time to time with a fashion question here and there, but as you can see – she’s pretty much got things handled. I find the combination of cognac brown boots and a tailored black jacket (that invokes a Chanel vibe) with easy, dark denim skinny jeans, to be rather perfect for a quick little NYFW moment. Top it off with a Balenciaga City bag and Persol shades? #chictothenextlev
