I spotted this girl outside my favorite deli (yes, on the corner of Crosby and Grand), and my first thought was, “Are you me?”

Green utility jacket? Check.

Black skinny jeans? Check.

Minnetonka suede moccasins? Check.

Ray Ban aviators? Check.

I had to snap a photo of her not because she was breaking new ground in ways to wear your denim, but because she so perfectly captured how we all wear our denim day-to-day. Nothing beats the versatility for dressing up and down, like a great pair of black jeans. She’s a great example of how to get it right when you know, it’s just another Thursday. Her beanie adds a dash of downtown cool, no?
