As with fit, the feel of denim is just as important as how they fall. There’s nothing worse than a pair of jeans (especially well cut jeans — it’s such a waste!) that just don’t breathe, stretch or move with you well. Or, boring fabric when you’re looking for something more exciting. There are so many different directions you can take denim, by experimenting with texture and fabric alone. Which is why I’m loving the growing popularity of textured denim. Seems like the less obvious trend for summer, but I’m searching for a pair of textured jeans, or even a textured denim jacket, to mix with contrasting materials like silk. Here are a few contenders …
