Obsessed is one word that describes how I’m feeling about the denim in Valentino’s Resort 2017 collection. Adorned with beading and patches and styled with fur, lace and chiffon, co-head designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli have created truly luxe denim pieces. As it happens, Chiuri is headed to Dior next month after co-designing at Valentino with Piccioli since 2008. Hopefully she’ll bring some of her denim magic along with her to Dior.
